Fighter

Fighters can be anything from city guards to veteran soldiers. They specialise in dealing damage to an enemies front line and unleashing a flurry of attacks.

Execute (Lv1)
When you kill a creature with a weapon attack, you can add 1d4 to your next weapon damage.

Fighter subclass (Lv2)
At 2nd level you can choose your Fighter subclass, The subclasses are given more detail at the end of this class description.

Stat increase (Lv3)
At level 3 you can increase one of your three main attributes by 2 or two attributes by 1.

Double strike (Lv4)
When you make an attack using your action you can make two attacks instead of one.

Subclass feature (Lv5)
You gain a feature from your subclass at this level.

Stat increase (Lv6)
At level 6 you can increase one of your three main attributes by 2 or two attributes by 1.

Unkillable (Lv7)
Whenever your health reaches 0 you can make a body save and instead be reduced to 1 hit-point.

Subclass feature (Lv8)
You gain a feature from your subclass at this level.

Fighter subclass: Duelist

A duelist has spent time and effort in their swordplay, using learned technique to defend themselves and stike an enemys weak spot.

Parry (Lv2)
Stamina cost: 2
As a reaction to being hit, you can add half your senses modifier(rounded down) to your armour for that attack. If this reduces the damage to 0 this feature is used at no stamina cost.

Polish weapons (Lv5)
Stamina cost: 2
During a break you clean and maintain your equipment granting a +1 bonus to damage rolls with the weapon until you take a rest.

Pressure point (Lv8)
Stamina cost: 3
Whenever you make an attack you can choose to bypass their armour and deal full damage to the creature. This must be declared before the attack is rolled.

Fighter subclass: Butcher

"War crimes"? What's that? This subclass is for the bloodthirsty and barbaric.

Bloodrage (Lv2)
Stamina cost: 1
As a bonus action you can take 1d4 + 1 damage from yourself (this damage cannot be reduced). On your next attack that hits you can deal extra damage equal to double the damage you took.

Blitz strike (Lv5)
Stamina cost: 2
Whenever you hit a creature with a melee attack, you can take 1d6+1 damage from yourself (this damage cannot be reduced) and make one additional attack against that creature. If you choose to use this feature again on the same turn, the damage taken increases to 1d8 + 2

Blood bath (Lv8)
After you kill a creature you regain 1d10 + body modifier hit-points.
